| The Story of this ranger. I bought this ranger
in 2002. The 2.9 V6 blew up on me early 2003. I did a 4.0 swap. I bought a
1992 explorer off of Ebay with a blown transmission. The new motor gave the
little ranger a lot more get up and go. Now the truck has a new explorer 8.8
rear end. There has also been a new bumper made from 10 inch channel
solidly mounted to the frame with front Reese hitch attached to the frame. I
have removed the A/C compressor and made a bracket to hold a new power
master alternator which is running to the back where two 1200 CCA tractor
trailer batteries which run a electric tow truck winch. January 2006 I hit a
tree with the bed so I cut the bed of built a flat bed and chopped about a
foot of the back of the frame installed tractor trailer lights in the rear . The Ranger is now undergiong major rebuild Click hear for details
